Since everyone has taken to ignore my comments or posts; for whatever difference it makes, Lauren Becall died today at the age of 89.

Keep in mind that I hesitate to make comments or post replies....I am always worried that I'll say the wrong thing.

Never worry about what you say or post. You're the "Emperor", you deserve respect and any praise you'd care to heap on Lauren Bacall would be well received. Over the past 10 years, I have written over two hundred reviews for archive.org and I've never given a thought to what anybody else thought. The proof of those reviews is in the literally thousands of views and downloads my reviews have generated. I, as a rule, stay away from forums but be strong and know your own strength and tell the world what you think. Sincerely sent.

Lauren Bacall was the first woman I fell in love with at the movies, which probably dates me, but no matter.
This week ranks in the worst ever.
I will have a hard time watching several of my very favorite films now.
Still, at least they remain.
Best wishes all.

My favorite films of hers are with Mr. Bogart. In fact, a film is being shot right now about the relationship. Did you know that Humphrey' second (Mayo) found out their relationship that she ran around their house trying to kill her with a knife until Bogie caught and subdue her.

I haven't seen much of her work, but I enjoyed her performance in "How to Marry a Millionaire".

I've only heard a relatively limited amount of old time radio...I haven't heard that particular program.

It's here. Go to Audio, go to page of radio. scroll to Old radio programs, click that, and type Lux Radio Theater, it will take to the page, type in To Have and Have Not. If it doesn't, look up the shows of 1946 of Lux and it should be listed.

Thanks and its not ignorance, its just the way people are. I had over 100 people download a file I posted Sunday and not a peep out of any of them.

What was the file. I like to see it and leave a comment. My post is a commercial I did in June.

The show Bold Venture was a syndicated show. NBC,ABC, CBS, and mutual wouldn't touch it. Humphrey Bogart produced it.
I have heard it and it was okay.

That episode of Rockford Files, with her as a princess, impressed me.
